Delightful!
We booked for the relatively newly launched evening dining option. What a joy. We began by grazing on a selection of spiced nuts and some wonderful breads washed down with a lovely glass of recommended Douro white wine. We then shared a perfectly cooked Tomahawk steak with duck fat roast potatoes, artichoke purée and the best bernaise sauce I’ve ever tasted. Our host recommended a red wine accompaniment which was a match made in heaven. This dining experience will long live in our memory for all that is good.

Wonderful Meal
Just had a gorgeous meal in Maison Gourmet this evening. Very creative and unusual choices on the menu. My husband and I had ham croquettes and beef takiki starters....wonderful. A salmon dish and Ravioli with walnuts and Brussels sprouts stuffed with comte cheese for main course. Absolutely delicious....too full to try dessert.....Next time. Waiter was a delight so passionate about the food and wine. Would recommend....a great experience!

A Little Bit of Paris
We love Maison for coffees and pastries and always take boxes back home to Leinster for friends. Today we went to the Michael Collins 100 year commemoration of his death in West Cork and took two delicious baguettes with us as it was a long day. We booked a table for later tonight for their new tapas menu and it was fabulous. The music was perfect, the lighting was perfect and the food was perfect. A little bit of Paris in Kenmare. Thank you to Emma and your wonderful family for this gorgeous treat and wishing you the very best with your new venture!
